Resetting the System — A Sacred Recalibration
Liberation Lessons: Actionable Advice for Radical Change A Weekly Paid Subscriber Bonus
You’ve rested, or at least, you’ve started (re)membering that rest is your sacred right. Not a luxury. Not a reward. A reclamation. Now, we move to what comes after the exhale.
RESET is not the same as restart. This isn’t about going back. This is about recalibrating from a place of clarity.
You’re not trying to get back to normal.
You’re ready to build a new rhythm that honors your wholeness.
Because liberation isn’t about escape.
It’s about redesign.
And this week’s question is:
What needs to be reset (internally and externally) for liberation to take root?
“To reset is to reckon.”
It means getting honest about the systems still living inside us, the ones we never consented to but carry anyway. The ones that whisper: "Keep pushing." "Don’t stop now." "You’ll fall behind."
We know how to grind. We’ve been trained in survival.
But survival is not the same as sovereignty.
Resetting asks:
What am I still organizing my life around that I no longer believe in?
What internalized systems need to be interrupted?
What rhythms were never mine to begin with?
Resetting is not passive. It’s a sacred act of refusal.
It’s saying: I will no longer arrange my life around urgency, around productivity, around the needs of systems that do not love me.
It’s where the sacred pause becomes a holy pivot.
This is the turning point
where we begin to reset the stories, the systems, and the standards… not just for ourselves, but for the generations to come.
And that’s where the real work begins…
