A Rest. Reset. Resist. Bonus for Paid Subscribers

We begin this sacred pause not with action, but with awareness.
Because before we can liberate, we must locate.

We must trace the roots of what we’ve inherited,
the stories we carry in our bones,
the lies we mistook for love,
and the lessons we were forced to learn to survive.

This week, we begin at the beginning:

“Rest is not a luxury. It is a portal.”

Before we talk about rest as practice, we must talk about rest as birthright, and how supremacy culture stole it.

We were trained to equate worth with work.
To believe that exhaustion is evidence of excellence.
To see stillness as selfish.
To worship grind and demonize pause.

And now?
We’re unlearning it.
We’re putting it down.
We’re reclaiming the divine right to do nothing, and still be whole.

Because to rest is not to retreat.
To rest is to remember…

Rest is Sacred Disruption

Supremacy culture teaches us to grind until we forget ourselves.
Liberation invites us to pause, and in the stillness, remember.

Rest in this framework is not laziness.
It’s not indulgence.
It’s not something to be earned after your usefulness is proven.

It is sacred.
It is disruptive.
It is your birthright.

We are not machines waiting to be powered down.
We are living beings who were never meant to run without rhythm.

What Are You Willing to Release… So You Can Rest?

If supremacy culture demands obedience through exhaustion,
Liberation asks: Are you willing to stop performing your worth?

Because in this season, we’re not here to hustle for freedom.
We’re here to heal by refusing to grind ourselves into dust.

This is your invitation to rest like your liberation depends on it, because it does.

We begin not by doing more,
but by doing less with sacred intention.
Not by chasing productivity,
but by turning down the noise that says you must earn rest to deserve love.

This lesson is an invocation.
To slow down.
To opt out.
To return to the knowing that your body is a site of resistance.

Because unlearning isn’t just mental.
It’s cellular.
It’s somatic.
It’s sacred.

This is where remembrance becomes rebellion.
Where breath becomes protest.
Where we whisper: I am enough, even in stillness.

And then, we reclaim our rhythm out loud.
