You Stayed… Now You Have to Live From It
House Two — Embodied Practice
You Stayed… And I’m Back
Before we move forward, I want to come back to you.
In the last piece, we sat in something together.
The in-between.
The moment where something shifted… but wasn’t fully formed yet.
And I said I’d meet you here on Saturday.
It’s Tuesday.
And I want to name that.
Not as an apology that rushes past itself
but as an honest reflection of what I’ve been asking you to practice.
Staying.
Living.
Being in relationship with what is actually happening in real time.
This weekend, I was with my child…fully.
We were at Furry Con, in joy, in play, in presence.
I celebrated Mother’s Day by choosing deep care for myself.
And I danced (really danced) in a way my body had been asking for.
Monday?
I needed to recover.
And instead of pushing through… I listened.
So thank you.
For your grace.
For your patience.
For staying.
And I hope your weekend met you where you were.
Not where you thought you should be
but where you actually were.
And that somewhere in it…
you found even a moment of joy.
Because that matters too.
Now let’s come back.
Because if you’re here
you didn’t just read the last piece.
You stayed with it.
And that means we can move into what comes next.
You Stayed… Now You Have to Live From It
House Two — Embodied Practice
Before you read this, pause.
Not the same pause as before.
Not the pause where you notice.
This one is different.
This is the pause where you feel the weight of it.
Where the question isn’t:
“What am I noticing?”
But:
“What am I going to do with what I now know?”
Because staying was the work.
But it was not the end of the work.
Awareness Is Not the Transformation
You felt it.
That moment where something shifted.
Where you didn’t react the same way.
Where you didn’t leave yourself.
Where you noticed something you couldn’t unsee.
That’s House One. (Awareness)
And it matters.
But awareness alone…
doesn’t change your life.
You can see every pattern clearly
and still live inside of it.
You can name every trigger
and still respond the same way.
You can understand yourself deeply
and still abandon yourself in real time.
Because awareness without practice…
stays in the mind.
And if you’re honest… you’ve felt that.
The moment where you know what’s happening…
and still do the thing you said you wouldn’t.
Still say yes when your body said no.
Still over-explain when silence would have held more.
Still leave yourself to keep something else intact.
Not because you don’t understand.
Because your body hasn’t learned a new way yet.
This Is Where Most People Stall
Not because they don’t know.
Because they don’t practice.
They wait until they feel ready.
Until it feels natural.
Until it feels easy.
But you already know
Blooming is not easy.
And neither is this.
House Two Is Where You Learn to Live It
This is where the Liberation Method™ shifts.
From:
“I can see it”
To:
“I will move differently.”
Not perfectly.
Not consistently.
But intentionally.
This is where awareness becomes:
a boundary you hold
a conversation you don’t avoid
a pause you don’t rush past
a need you actually voice
a choice that disrupts the pattern
Not later.
Now.
The Moment You Have Been Avoiding
You already know where this applies.
It’s not theoretical.
It’s the next conversation.
The next decision.
The next moment where your old pattern shows up and says:
“Do what we always do.”
You can probably feel it right now.
That one thing you’ve been avoiding.
The message you haven’t sent.
The boundary you keep rehearsing but haven’t said.
The conversation that keeps looping in your mind.
That’s where this lives.
Not in this article.
In your life.
And now you have a choice.
Not because you’re ready.
But because you’re aware.
The rest of this isn’t more insight.
It’s practice.
It’s what it looks like to take what you just recognized
and stay with it
in your body
in your relationships
in real time
without leaving yourself in the process.
That’s the work we do inside this space.
