This and The Color of Law. How was/is all this possible? This is America. They can’t just make laws handicapping just certain people. Laws are for everyone. I just can’t with this country any more.
This was and is all possible because people sat by and didn’t speak up. People chose themselves over the collective. People decided to not face their own trauma and brushed it under the rug and pretended to move on as well adjusted people and they weren’t. It happened because as long as it wasn’t impacting them directly it wasn’t their problem
